Visitors to the University of Sheffield
Please note that the road system in Sheffield has recently been extensively redeveloped. SatNav and other web travel instructions will be updated over the course of 2008, but may currently be providing incorrect information.
Car parking around the University campus is severely limited, and by permit only, so those coming by car are strongly advised to make use of one of the excellent and inexpensive Supertram Park and Ride Schemes operating from Middlewood Park, Meadowhall Interchange and Nunnery Square.
The Supertram stop is on Upper Hanover Street and is called 'University of Sheffield'. Further details can be found on the University web site at:
From the railway station, there are frequent Supertrams (platform 6B) and regular buses (no. 60) to the University.
