Research interests: Motion of polymers in solid and solution Phases. Use of labelled polymers to establish links between molecular properties and mechanical and electrical behaviour. Use of phosphorescent labels attached to polymer backbones to monitor the dynamics of individual polymer chains in polymer solids and blends.
